ACQ London – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ACQ London’s website, online learning platforms, and all programmes or services offered by the institution. By enrolling in a course, registering on our website, or accessing our digital learning environment, you agree to comply fully with these Terms. If you do not accept them, you should not proceed with enrolment or use of our services.
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between ACQ London ("ACQ", "we", "our", "us") and learners ("you", "student") enrolling in our programmes.
1.2 By enrolling, accessing course materials, or using our Learning Management System (LMS), you agree to these Terms.
1.3 ACQ London is registered in the United Kingdom and operates globally through approved delivery partners.
2. Courses & Delivery
2.1 Courses are primarily delivered online through our LMS, with some programmes offered in collaboration with accredited awarding bodies (e.g., OTHM, Qualifi, ATHE, NCFE, TQUK).
2.2 Where courses are delivered via partner institutions (including Sri Lanka and Canada), the academic and support services remain governed by these Terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 We reserve the right to update, modify, or withdraw courses without prior notice to maintain compliance with awarding body requirements and industry standards.
3. Admissions & Eligibility
3.1 Admission is open to learners meeting course entry requirements (academic, language, or professional).
3.2 All information you provide must be accurate and truthful. ACQ reserves the right to cancel enrolment for false or misleading information.
3.3 International students must ensure they meet English language and entry requirements; ACQ is not responsible for visa or immigration compliance.
4. Fees & Payments
4.1 Course fees are set out during admission and must be paid as per the agreed schedule.
4.2 Payment may be made in full or by instalments (where available). Failure to meet instalment deadlines may result in suspension of access.
4.3 Fees are quoted in GBP unless otherwise stated. Exchange rate or bank charges are borne by the student.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
5.1 Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, students have a 14-day "cooling-off" period from payment to cancel for a full refund, provided course materials have not been accessed.
5.2 If materials are accessed within 14 days, refunds may be reduced proportionately.
5.3 No refunds are issued after 14 days unless in exceptional circumstances, at ACQ's sole discretion.
5.4 Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email]. Approved refunds are processed within 30 days.
6. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
6.1 Learners may apply for RPL where prior academic, vocational, or professional experience meets course requirements.
6.2 ACQ reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for RPL assessments.
7. Assessment & Certification
7.1 Assessment is primarily assignment-based; details are course-specific.
7.2 Certificates are issued by the awarding body (OTHM, Qualifi, etc.) or by ACQ London for internal courses.
7.3 Certificates remain the property of the awarding body and may be withdrawn if academic misconduct is proven.
8. Student Conduct
8.1 Learners must:
- Respect academic integrity (no plagiarism, collusion, or cheating).
- Use the LMS and communication channels appropriately.
- Treat staff and peers respectfully.
8.2 ACQ reserves the right to suspend or expel learners for breaches of conduct.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All course materials, content, and LMS resources are the intellectual property of ACQ London or its licensors.
9.2 You may use materials for personal learning only; reproduction, sharing, or commercial use is prohibited.
10. Data Protection & GDPR
10.1 ACQ complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
10.2 Personal data collected during enrolment and study is processed lawfully, transparently, and securely for educational and administrative purposes.
10.3 Data may be shared with awarding bodies, regulators, and approved delivery partners where necessary.

11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 ACQ London is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
- Student failure to complete a course.
- Recognition of qualifications by third parties (employers, immigration, universities).
11.2 Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific course.
12. Partner Institutions & Third Parties
12.1 Some programmes are delivered via approved partners (e.g., in Sri Lanka, Canada). Students enrolled through partners are still bound by these Terms.
12.2 ACQ is not responsible for services provided independently by partner institutions unless explicitly stated.
13. Force Majeure
13.1 ACQ is not liable for failure to deliver courses due to events outside its reasonable control (including strikes, technical outages, pandemics, or natural disasters).
14. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
14.1 Students may raise concerns through the Student Support Team.
14.2 Complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and resolved within 28 working days where possible.
14.3 If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Governing Law
15.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
